company operating 'Symbian' systems, Javna has become the first specialized Arab
company to join the Platinum Program.
Commenting on the development, Javna's CEO Mansour Mansour said, 'We are
thrilled at joining the Symbian Platinum Program, which is the umbrella of the
most prominent cellular phones makers in the world. We are proud of such
partnership, which is prone to take us into the circle of the world's elite
telecommunications companies, let alone that being partners in the program is a
testimony to the efficiency of our solutions and wireless applications.'
He added, 'This partnership crowns Javna's record of continuous advancements and
achievements at the Arab and international levels in the telecommunications
industry.'
According to the agreement, Javna will be receiving technical and marketing
support from Symbian and will have access to the codes of the company's
operating systems.
In addition, Javna's programmers will have the opportunity to join specialized
training courses and workshops, where they will be trained on designing software

As part of the program, Mansour explained, Symbian will endorse Javna's wireless
products, after they are evaluated and tested. It will help Javna market and
promote these products in the international market as 'Certified by Symbian'.
The international company will also offer Javna the necessary support to work
with the other Platinum partners, Sponsors and Symbian's Contributors, like
Nokia, Sony and Ericsson.
In addition to this network of contacts, Javna will have the opportunity for the
first time to take part in Symbian's international conferences and to take its
place at the platform of the sector's leaders to present its vision and discuss
its plans at the regional and international levels.
