wireless technologies drive Qatar marketing world to mobile applications

Energizer Middle East and North Africa and Qatar-based agent of Energizer
products, Al Salam Company, commended Javna's wireless applications and
innovative solutions that have been employed to serve the company's promotional
campaign for summer 2008.
The three-month campaign saw the participation of 11,000 customers, including
the winner of the Grand Prize, a Hummer H3, Mr. Larry, holder of coupon number
EY324837.…… said: "The dynamism made available by Javna's solutions
contributed to the success of the marketing campaign. The credibility and
transparency characterizing these solutions played a key role in attracting a
greater number of participants, apart from the smoothness and flexibility
characterizing the entire process, which went on in a very positive fashion."
He added: "On the last day of the process, when the Energizer campaign was
approaching its peak, crowds of participants and media people filled the
corridors of Al-Lulu Hypermarket to attend the closing ceremony, the successful
conclusion of the campaign and the achievement of its goals. Javna, with its
integrated technologies, helped us get there."
At the technical level, Amman-based Javna employed its integrated wireless
applications and mobile interactive solutions to manage the complete process and
stages of the campaign. Starting from customers sending the serial the numbers
of the coupons they had received upon buying any Energizer product, verifying
the validity of the serial numbers , and ending with notifying the customers
that the process has been completed successfully and that they have been entered
in the draw. Days before the draw on the grand prize, the system automatically
sent a notification to all participants of the time and place of the draw.

Javna's Qatar Office Director Mohammad Seif Al Khayareen said: "The outcome of
Energizer campaign has highlighted the importance of wireless solutions' role in
rendering marketing programs a success and the considerable support these
solutions can extend to promotional campaigns. Apart from the ease of the
process and the comprehensiveness of these solutions, companies can employ them
to serve their marketing purposes and can use the customer data in direct
advertising."
He added: "Unlike conventional technologies, which are typically difficult to
analyze and monitor the various stages promotional campaigns, users of Javna's
solutions can track the campaign a minute by a minute and obtain reports and
statistical data to adjust the campaign parameters and monitor progress.. In
addition, by automating the process, Javna's solutions reduce operational costs
